A bit late listening to this episode but yes, go back, do the NC500, the coast road around Scotland... I’ve done it last year late September/early October... one week with 2.5k miles covered... no rain, hotels for any budget, mine being on the lower end of the spectrum... drove a large French estate and loved the roads... I’d be used to these type of roads from Ireland anyway... My two cents worth
