fascinating insight into the 16th-century history of France. a tumultuous time. It seems to me that Catherine de Medici was wrongly maligned when all she was doing was holding the middle ground between Catholics and Protestants

How refreshing to have a podcast where women are spoken about without looking through the male lense. The conversations were able to discuss those difficult and complex characters such as the suffragettes, highlight the lack of engagement with disabled and women and raise up black and working class women. We are indeed half of the population and our history needs to be reclaimed. Thanks all!

This would have been more forecful if the interviewee had his facts with him, instead of saying I don’t have the exact figures, or I don’t remember their ages, etc. Why wasn’t he prepared? Frustrating!

Never heard Antrim pronounced the way it was in this podcast. I’m from Co Antrim and now wondering if we’ve all got it wrong, or there was a totally different wat to say it hundreds of years ago.
