Also, some of the more controversial elements here that always fired me up are presented in an extremely respectful manner that tamps down the argumentative element, or the need for someone like me to “prove” the science, instead of use it. I seriously must have learned 50 new things, even if I only retained 10% it was hyper-resonant, and brought back things I already new in a complimentary way. Highly recommended.
John Vervaeke deserves massive thanks for this in depth series, and getting deeper into the problems of the meaning crisis left out of our discussion. The extensive sources and linking together of a plausible scientific theory of meaning, with a hands on ecology of practices that can gel with tradition, depth psychology, and comparative symbol systems is great. I had found Corbin necessary to a schism between Jung, Hillman and science. John helped so much with that.
Very clever using Erik Satie in the theme music! Was that unconscious or deliberate?!
