Just a reminder, even if your cross does turn upside down, an upside down cross is Saint peter‘s cross 🙂. Peter was crucified upside down so people who hate Christianity love to use it as a symbol of the enemy, but they are ignorant to the fact that it is actually still a Christian symbol. Just a different way to look at it and perhaps not be as bothered by it.

Thanks for the reminder. It is so important. We trust in the Lord even though sometimes it can be hard. Not just in how crazy and dysfunctional the world is right now, but I know in my personal life we are facing a move that was not planned. So there’s a lot to take in there between buying and selling and leaving all of our family and friends behind. so the reminder of trusting in him, especially when you are overwhelmed is always good.

Couldn’t agree with you more! As a teacher your job is to teach my kid maths, science, history, social studies etc. NOT about sexuality, gender identity Etc. If I choose to teach my kid that, that is my choice and my choice alone (as well as my spouse). Kids need to be kids.

I also had to laugh about his comment about being a grown man...I‘m only (and I emphasize only) 34. And even I thought oh sweet summer child....it‘s been a decade now that I‘ve been 24 and I realize I didn‘t know jack about the real world for the most part. 24 is still very young, and pretty green in the world.
