What a beautiful and powerful episode. I am in tears after listening to it. Even more so touched that a song from my nation of Ahousaht was used to end the episode. I am curious what your connection to Ahousaht is? ƛ̕eeko ƛ̕eeko (Thank you) Chuu!

So thankful for season 2 & for y'all's continued commitment. I absolutely loved hearing Matika's birth story. Brought back memories, pain, and laughter from when my 1st son was born, as well as anticipation for my 2nd baby boy coming in August! Sgi to you both.

Amazing podcast! So much relavance and brevity in regards to Native America. Good to hear from you, Matika. Stay safe, everyone. Misinformation is everywhere, including in native communities.

Beautiful language and thoughts. Thank you Matika for grounding the conversation ( not just academic, although sooo important) of settler and extract colonialism. Dope.

You two are so amazing! Hard hitting, yet compassionate. How do you do this work? Thank you for addressing these topics and helping me, a black descendant of the Diaspora search her creation story.
