You can use your fork to butter it and then eat it!

So if the baked potato is, according to the mannered, to be eaten with one’s fingers, no knives, why do all the restaurants that do serve bakeds (perhaps a PNW thing?) slice them down the center and offer butter, chives, ground pepper, etc..?

GASP!!! You condone a person who, yes, may be following the store lines but..... I detest line cutters. To say that person should have just stepped into the short line is rude. After clarifying there were two lines they should have asked the first person in the long line, who obviously has been waiting, if they would like to go first. Just like when a second check stand opens, the people waiting first in line should be the first directed over. This is one of my massive pet peeves.
