While we’re talking about grim Peter Pan theories relating to specifically the Disney version, aren’t there a bunch of prequel movies about Tinkerbell and the fairies? What happened to them? Was there a fairy massacre and is that why Tinkerbell is so attached to Peter Pan now, because she lost everyone else?

Hi Jess. Apologies - we somehow managed to miss your comment! It's great to hear from you and we're so glad you enjoy our podcast. Neither Madeleine nor I have read The Magicians by Lev Grossman - it's been on my tbh forever! But if you recommend it, I'm going to bump it up the list. Thank you. We're so happy you've found more books because of us too! Hope you're well and staying safe in the current climate. And that we're still entertaining you with DD - we are very late replying to you!

@Jess : Before I accidentally hit send, I was going to finish by saying that I really look forward to listening to the podcast every Friday and I’ve read so many more interesting books because of it. Thank you for everything.

@Jess : Hi, I really love the podcast , I’ve been wanting to leave a comment for a while now and I finally have something to say. Ok I just listened to your episode on magical libraries and was wondering if either of you have read The Magicians trilogy by Lev Grossman? Or watched the tv series? (I prefer the series and highly recommend it). Well anyway there are two magical libraries within the world, the library of the nietherlands in which all the books of everyone alive are contained (it is noted that no one ever reads their on book and finds themselves happy with it) and there is the library at Brakebills university, where the books are alive sort of. This is appears in both the books and the tv series, but there’s a wonderful paragraph about the ablity of the books to interbreed in the third book and concerning the ethics of librarian eugenics (should a breeding program be implemented for the books to produce offspring books that are more interesting?).
