All to say “Lord, then teach us to number our [short] days so that we may get a heart of wisdom.” There is nothing about repentance preexisting in God’s mind. Thoughts?

Hi Dustin, thanks for this great content. I’m curious about your remark regarding Psalm 90:2. Did your research find that Jews really interpreted “sub” as repentance? Context and rules of Jewish poetry clearly show in the Bicol on and context that the “return” is pertaining to returning to dust. Context shows the section of the poem to be a contrast between the everlasting God and the brevity of human life. God commands man to return to dust; he sweeps them away like a flood; etc.

What about ascending and descending in authority and rank? Descending to being a servant... Later on to ascend as the king

The kiastic interpretation is a useful one and of course focusses us on a primary reason for the prologue and the primary theme of all the gospel of John; rather than what trinitarians try to peddle, completely missing the point! Your bringing in Sirach, Baruch and Enoch was very good and I fortunately have an NEB with the Apocrypha in. I had read Enoch, but not those other books and I can certainly see the relevance of them more so now. Good job, a worthwhile listen.

Rule over animals? The animals are types of humans in the seas of the earth, those people who are in a covenant and are not obeying the word of God, but are in opposition to it. Genesis 1, I put to you again is using metaphors for types of people that God can create as the potter over the clay, giving to each person a body he determines, 1Cor15 covers some of this. Anyhow, I will continue to listen to some of your other vids. God bless

Sorry, I thought I'd ask. There was a mention of the seed of the woman which pertains to the Messiah, and there's also the seed of the serpent, does that mean there's also a descendant from the serpent?
