Happy New Year gang, absolutely brilliant podcast Simon, thanks for creating these they are so insightful.
nice podcast!!
The reason that marketing gimmicks focus on USA is because pro cycling is not popular. The rest of the world is attracted by the connections to all things UCI and world tour. All the Geraint Thomas ads (and the like) don't really spak to the USA crowd the way they do for the rest of the world.
Another great podcast Simon, thanks for producing these I really love listening. Keep up the good work.
Another great podcast Simon. Really love listening to the content yourself Shane and Nathan put out in these Keep up the good work
Viv la Zwiftcast!
Great to hear another Zwiftcast so soon! One of the best things about lockdown, apart from Zwift of course.
To some extent I think part of the number for Peak Zwift May have changed date as it has been unseasonably warm in many places. Especially here in Texas. However if they are looking to target runners they actually have to go after high profile runners and even general fitness athletes, not necessarily triathletes. Because you make an argument to count Triathletes as cyclists.
I agree that 80 is too high for standing threshold. It should be put back to 70 or give us a choice.
Brilliant cast, much appreciated gentlemen!
Also forcing people to ride a terrible bike in a video game because they havnt logged the hours is bullcrap. Agree with Nathan, they should be given a choice of bikes and select which one they think will be best for them.
So using a ANT spoofer to test bikes and figure out what bike/wheel combo is fastest, to gain information you would not know by "cheating" and then share it and monetize it on youtube is ok. But a kid who grew up playing and finding cheats in video games uses a ANT spoofer to acquire a competitive bike in a video game gets handed fines and a ban is wrong. Got it. Makes sense...sarcasm
thanks for the awesome cast!

Thank you so much Sir ๐๐๐๐๐
Simon I was *thrilled* to hear of your love for Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers....here's to Boston and a hoped-for sighting of the desert critter!
Getting a bit sick of calls for more transparency by Zwift or organisers but then half references and โthatโs all Iโll say about thatโ comments by the podcast team
Ble is designed to transfer 8 bits of data
Bluetooth is actually very reliable. Bluetooth light or BLE And ANT is the problem. WIFI Would be optimum
I enjoyed listening to this podcast. I started Zwifting a month ago and I find this product pretty interesting. I do believe that Zwift is still in its infancy and by listening to Eric it sounds to me that Zwift leadership are still experimenting with their business model. I applaud his vision and ideas. The monthly payments versus a annual is still something that I found confusing in terms of loyalty and rewards.
Perhaps best you stop listening. No problem for me.
We need to ask Eric about the lack bar tape choice and tattoos. If they were available what would he go for and why ๐
Contact6, I'm with you, Simon tensed to use more words then needed, a lot of the time.
The main guy on this podcast stutters all the way through the podcast. I found this so annoying that I couldnโt listen to the full podcast
Tim and his Bacon lol...! Great podcast worth listening again.
Hi Simon, great podcast as always. Follow you on FB but it would be great to have a section on club or team of the month? I ride with ZSUN and think it would be good for listeners to meet some of the teams out there!
This is my favourite P*****t about Zwift branded indoor trainer cycling chat
Podcast got me through the monotony of the last 20k of my first virtual 100k! Thanks guys!
Did Kevin Poulton really just say burning 3500 equals 1 pound of body fat!
Great podcast...after my experience of the Thurs KISS Europe race...defo in favour of a race only course...perhaps in time hopefully we will see that :-)
Happy new year gang another brilliant episode, keep up the good work
