Topics discussed includes NBA, NFL, MLB, NASCAR, PGA, NCAA and other relevant sports topics. The Sports Kings consist of MeanGene, Dustin Phifer , Downtown Wayne Brown and Denny Sharma. We mainly cover the NFL, NBA and MLB, in 2022-2023 we hosted our show from Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Westgate Sports Book and in 2017 and 2018 we hosted Super Bowl parties at the Silverton Hotel Las Vegas, in 2011 we hosted our first ever Super Bowl Party at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. The Sports Kings have appeared on the following stations KRLA Los Angeles, KWRM Riverside CA, KFNX Phoenix AZ, KDWN Las Vegas, Yahoo Sports Radio National Network, SB Nation Radio, and the SportsMap Radio Network.
The MeanGene Show/Sports Kings is hosted by Gene Thompson ”The Sports Machine”. MeanGene is the former host of the Yahoo Sports Kings on Yahoo Sports Radio, SB Nation Radio, KFNX AM 1100 in Phoenix, KRLA 870 in Los Angeles and most recently KDWN 720 AM-101.5 FM in Las Vegas. MeanGene has been in the Sports Radio broadcasting business for over 20 years and have interviewed some of the biggest names in Professional Sports.
