In this episode, I speak with Meg and her journey of losing over 200 lbs and overcoming eating disorders. Meg grew up as the "big kid" at school and developed eating disorders at an early age. This impacted her very negatively and she was constantly avoiding interaction with others. She gained the confidence to pursue a healthier lifestyle after seeing others with a similar background turn their life around. We dive into binging, purging, and the downside of fasting. We also discuss the psychological aspect of reaching your goals and the importance of consistency, discipline, forming habits, and a healthy balance. I really enjoyed this talk as I relate to so many of the struggles Meg reflects on.
