While on holiday in sunny Cornwall, Poirot and Hastings stumble across a beautiful woman whose life is in apparent danger. When her cousin, who bears a resemblance to her, is then murdered, is it a case of mistaken identity? Who could possibly want to see the charming Mademoiselle Nick dead, and will the killer strike again? As the Whitehaven Four investigate, they soon discover that all is not Per-well at End House...
