Many, including Christians, refuse to treat intimacy between a husband and wife as a true right. Refusing to acknowledge that intimacy is a right has led many to come up with any excuse they can muster for why a spouse would be justified to deprive their spouse. Paul, on the other hand, had a different view of intimacy.
