With no lovers to comfort oneself, a heart that finds no pleasure, and a lot of words that might mean something else, it's no wonder this book is called Lamentations. A failed attempt at poetry leaves one feeling desolate and faint all day. Jeremiah's (he's back!) word of the day makes up for the dreary chapters and has spawned a movement amongst faithful listeners.
