A vital part of the post D-Day plan was to organise the French Resistance to rise up against the Nazi occupiers. But very much on Allied terms and where the Maquis could help best. Parachuted in behind the lines to train, aid and support the Resistance were a number of three-man teams, known as Jedburghs. Who were these men, where were they dropped and did they succeed?
