In this week's Mining Stock Daily long-form episode, we speak first with Jamie Strauss, founder and CEO of Digbee, and then (@28mins) catch up with Brien Lundin, President and CEO of Jefferson Financial.
Jamie talks about why he founded Digbee, a data, ESG disclosure and research platform for the mining industry, and some of the challenges we face as an industry when it comes to measuring our environment, social & governance (ESG) performance and reporting on it, especially for the junior miners and explorers. We also talk about Jamie's upcoming presentation at the G7 summit in the historic mining town of Cornwall.
We spoke to Brien about how gold cleared $1800 then $1900 in May and what that means for the juniors. I also tie the conversations together by asking Brien about his perspectives on ESG reporting. We then discuss the in-person New Orleans Investment Conference coming up in October.
