Have you ever struggled with forgiveness? Anxiety? Worry? Need encouragement in your daily walk with Jesus and diving into Bible reading?
This week I welcome my new friend and guest Healey Ikerd to the show. She shares her Jesus story of redemption, which includes being a child of divorce, serving in the US Army, and becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist. She’s been in the mental health field for over 17 years and founded her private practice HopeLife Counseling where she helps others work through problems of everyday life.
Her fierce calling is helping others know the importance of reading the Bible, manage anxiety, and experience the freedom of forgiveness. Healey also has a heart for helping others learn ways to improve brain and body for good mental health. So good!
We’re talking about her books Changing Your Feeling – A Workbook for Anxiety and Worry From a Christian Perspective and a newly released children’s book called The Red Ball – A Story of Friendship and Forgiveness. Plus she provides helpful encouragement and actionable steps you can take to move forward in current challenges you may be facing.
I know what Healey shares will encourage, inspire, and challenge you, so listen in while I have a chat with Healey Ikerd.
