Allison Guilbault, a seasoned therapist known for her distinct approach to mental health, borne out of her varied and extraordinary professional journey that started with a childhood interest in forensics. She initially worked in sexual assault and domestic violence counseling, then transitioned into working with offenders inside the walls of Rikers Islands. Now, Allison focuses on the intersection of trauma, anxiety, and sex and intimacy issues in her private practice, offering unique and empathetic insights into the role of shame in our emotional experiences.
