On September 28th, 1953, Bobby Greenlease, the six-year-old son of one of the Midwest’s wealthiest automobile dealers was abducted from his school and held for ransom. This was a tale of evil, corruption, and stupidity. It Missouri’s crime of the century as The Saint Louis Post-Dispatch would put it.
