439 - Living The Dream As A Full-Time Artist
Podcast Number: 439
Podcast Release Date: 06/13/23
Podcast Description
Katie Nelson, my guest on this episode of the Thriving Christian Artist, is living the dream as a full-time artist.
As a wedding painter, she gets plenty of bookings during “wedding season” to do live painting at weddings and other events. Add in some commission work, and the fact that she wisely requires deposits in advance to book her time, and you can see she’s got both the art and the business parts figured out.
Katie talked with me about how her life led her from growing up in missions to developing her talents and taking the leap to become a full-time artist. We also talked about how important it is to her that God is the central focus of what she does with her time and her talents. It was a great conversation and I know you’ll enjoy listening to it.
