The YouTube Power Hour Podcast
Business:Marketing
Hey YouTube Power Hour Squad! In this episode, I’m going to talk about the 5 things you have to think about if you’ve been on YouTube for YEARS without seeing any growth. My guest this week was Camille Collazo, who was on YouTube for 6 years without seeing much growth, but it was her passion for creation and her determination that kept her going. It took a global pandemic for Camille to blow up on YouTube when she transitioned to frugal living hacks and content around money-saving tips. Her journey is proof that with resilience and determination, you can be successful on YouTube with the right tools!
Here are the 5 things to think about if your channel is STUCK:
You need to have a VISION: visualize the channel you want to have, who your ideal subscriber is, etc. Without a vision, you have no path to success. Make a commitment to your channel: once you make a commitment and treat your channel like a full-time job, even if it’s not! Be self-aware: you need to be honest with yourself, whether it’s knowing if YouTube is the right platform for you, or whether it’s if your niche is right for you, you need to assess yourself as a content creator and what isn’t working for you. Are you passionate about YouTube? You might be really passionate about your topic or niche, but in order to be successful on YouTube, you need to be passionate about creating and sharing videos. This platform is not a good fit for everyone! Know when you need help: You need to know what your strengths and weaknesses are. If you suck at editing videos, hire an editor! Such at making thumbnails? Hire a graphic designer! Need someone to help you with your channel? Hire a coach!
Are you ready to implement these 5 tips?
