We talk about how so many of us are obligers responding to the external rather than internal stimuli and why we need a powerful community to overcome that. We agree that it is important to mourn projects we say ‘no’ to but still, it is the only way to do what matters as trying harder doesn’t quite work. We also discuss the importance of listening to our bodies and our brains as they are pretty clear about what is good for us at a given moment.
