Welcome to Episode 216 where we grab episode 119 from the archives and spend some time talking about a big aspect of being assertive and standing in our truth: integrity.
In this episode we get into what some of the most important aspects of our integrity are, from defining our values to identifying several ways we can become more honest and open. To know how we want to behave. How we want to treat other people and what kind of life we essentially want to have. Being assertive requires that we are first proud of who we are, and more certain of our truth before we can put that out into the world.
However, the true test of integrity lies in living it out consistently, which is HARD!!!! especially when confronted with challenging circumstances that may tempt us to compromise our principles. In those moments of trial, our integrity acts as a moral compass, guiding us towards the path of righteousness and virtue. The strength of our character shines through when we hold on to our principles, even when it’s hard. I also think that when we live this out the best we can, we have a lot less internal conflict and thus less anxiety and greater confidence.

· Explore how what you value and believe helps define integrity for you.
· Look at how emotional honesty and healthy boundaries play a big part.
· Utilize visualization to help us define where we would like to be.
Truly caring means focusing on what is
for another’s highest good,
and check ourselves that we aren’t
making it all about US. About what WE want for them.
So that WE can feel needed.
Because WE think we know what’s best.
