David Marley, Author of Skipper Stories: True Tales of Disneyland’s Jungle Cruise

The Jungle Cruise in Disneyland is one of those rides that you either love or hate - there's really not much of a middle ground there. And if you're like most of us, the "jokes" can sometimes get in the way of the actual ride. Today on the show, we talk with former Jungle Cruise Skipper and author of Skipper Stories: True Tales of Disneyland's Jungle Cruise, David Marley, who not only wrote about his time lurking about the jungles of Disneyland but he interviewed different Skippers across the various decades of the Jungle Cruise's lifetime. These two perspectives on this classic ride gives an accurate and in-depth look into what it takes to be a Jungle Cruise Skipper.
