Jay Jacobs was the Athletic Director at Auburn University from 2004-2018. During his tenure with the Tigers, he was part of Auburn's undefeated football program in 2010 that won the national championship, beating Oregon 22-19.
After his time came to end at Auburn, Jacobs moved to the University of Florida, where he was the Gators' Executive Associate Athletics Director of External Affairs from 2018-2023. He retired from his role at Florida on June 30, 2023.
Today on the podcast, Jay Jacobs shares about his decision to retire from Florida, playing college football with Bo Jackson at Auburn, how he has lived his faith in Jesus out at the work place, overcoming adversity and the importance of foster parenting.
