Today's guest is the brilliant Dr Emma Hepburn. She is a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist with over 15 years experience of working with and treating mental health difficulties. She is also someone I've followed on Instagram for years (@thepsychologymum on Instagram). She uses the platform brilliantly, and recently won a Lovie award, as well as a Peoples’ Choice Lovie for her social media work as well as being shortlisted for the mind Media Awards. This is due to her brilliant online presence where she posts illustrations on mental health (some of which feature in her book A Toolkit for Modern Life: 53 Ways to Look After Your Mind). She shows how we can understand our own brains in an engaging and information way. She is passionate about bringing psychology and evidence-based mental health information beyond the clinic room and is helping people get a handle on managing our mental wllbeing which is a life long process. Hope you enjoy our chat here about her book, mental health and dealing with general life overwhelm. If you did, please do considering leaving a review :)
