Indie Pod: An Indie Games Podcast
Leisure:Video Games
In this week's developer interview, Josh sits down with Ryan Wianko, the project director of Fractured Veil, a new upcoming MMO survival game. We talk about the unsatisfied feeling Ryan has felt with previous survival games. Although they have been fun and he loves the genre, he felt more could be done when it comes to choices having an impact and reducing the tedium from them where apparent. We also discuss the challenges of building a universe where you can travel between servers with different biomes as well as having a game where you can possibly have 500 players in one world at a time. If you like what you hear be sure to follow Fractured Veil on Twitter, add the game to your Steam wishlist, and or back the game on Kickstarter.
