October 26, 1998. Kentucky. Kyle “Deannie” Breeden went missing on October 26, 1998. Ten days later his body was found was found by a fisherman in the Kentucky River. His legs had been bound with a guitar amplifier cord and he had two bullets in his skull. His on-again-off-again girlfriend, Susan King, a petite, one-legged woman with a history of gun ownership was one of many initial suspects. King, an unlikely candidate, would be indicted for Breeden's murder when the case was reopened in 2006 and taken over by Kentucky state police officer Todd Harwood, whom it seemed, wanted to pin the crime on King no matter what.
