Champ Thornton and Andy Naselli have begun a series for readers age 9-13 with New Growth Press, called "The Serpent Slayer and the Scroll of Riddles". It's book one of a six-part series called "the Kambur Chronicles", starring two siblings and a rare ancient artifact that allows them to travel not through time, but through the stories on a scroll. Each features an ancient account from the Bible about heroes who slay giant serpents, dragons, or people who are allies of the Great Serpent. It is based on Naselli's book on theology, "The Serpent and the Serpent Slayer" (published by Crossway)
