On 9 September 2021, Access Agriculture Director for International Development, Paul Van Mele, gave a presentation at the 20th Organic World Congress, which took place digitally and on-site in Rennes, France, 6-10 September. His talk “Spreading organic agricultural practices through training videos” illustrated how digital learning tools and strategic partnerships are crucial to help reach more farmers to transition towards agroecology and organic farming across the global South. The presentation elicited great interest and led to several new exciting partnerships currently being developed, such as with the Intercontinental Network of Organic Farmers' Organisations (INOFO), the Global Alliance for Organic Districts (GAOD) and Regeneration International. In addition to Paul, Access Agriculture was represented at the Congress by Executive Director, Josephine Rodgers and Communications Specialist, Phil Malone.
