Unfortunately we had to begin this episode by talking about some disturbing recent events involving J.League players off the pitch, with the latest transgressor, Ademilson of Gamba Osaka, most probably costing himself his job after his DUI arrest on Sunday.
That soured what had been a terrific Gamba win the previous day, with the man himself scoring the winner at the death but then taking his celebrations way, way, too far, and as we move on to events on the pitch we begin with the game at the Panasonic Stadium, before moving on to Cerezo Osaka's defeat at suddenly resurgent Urawa - those two results leaving the Osaka clubs knotted together on 48 points. Next up Sam sets Ben down on the couch for a therapy session after FC Tokyo's profligacy (and later, utter stupidity) cost them dearly at home against Yokohama F.Marinos (all that runs to 44:17).
A review of the wins for Nagoya, Kashima and Sapporo follows, before we wrap up the episode with the draw between Tosu and Shonan and a look ahead to upcoming top flight fixtures.
