Seriously, have you noticed how polarized our speech has changed over the years?
“Good” has become “awesome”, “bad” has become “the worst”, etc.
Then there are the superlative amplifiers such as “very” and “so” and “totally”.
We live in a world of extremes both in our minds and in reality and, believe it or not, happiness, and contentment lie somewhere in the middle.
