Steve Cuno is an author, copywriter, widower, father, grandfather, skeptic, and "marketing know-it-all" who joined us to talk about his new book, Behind the Mormon Curtain: Selling Sex in America's Holy City. He spent years researching, conducting interviews, writing, and editing this book, and it shows.

 

What Steve initially envisioned as a collection of light-hearted and comedic stories turned into a much more interesting and nuanced examination of the sex work industry in Utah. He takes us behind the Zion curtain to reveal some of the tricks (pun fully intended) of the trade and teaches us all a thing or two about what it means to be able to take a compassionate and empathetic look at one of the oldest professions in the world.
