-The Complete Guide to Fasting by Dr. Jason Fung and Jimmy Moore -- this book is a MUST HAVE book for both beginning fasters and experienced fasters. I can't recommend it highly enough. It's an easy read with all the lists of what to do, what not to do, tips, and troubleshooting. I love it so much that I have the book and the audio - I recommend both! You can find both on Amazon.
-Beyond Fasting by Dr. Dan Pompa This is a newer book on fasting by Dr. Pompa (one of my personal doctors) that goes into more depth when you are wanting to use fasting therapeutically for health concerns other than or in addition to diabetes and weight loss. Tea and Coffee:
The best teas made especially for fasting and endorsed by Dr. Jason Fung: Pique Teas
At the very least MAKE CERTAIN you are using an ORGANIC tea as many teas are loaded with pesticides. This defeats the whole idea of cleansing from a fast.

Nutritional Recommendations:
