Journalist Makenzi Johnson joins co-hosts Sarah Bakeman and Soraya Keiser to talk about her Human Solution story. She profiled Bethel Study Abroad administrator Virginija Wilcox about how her life was transformed by leaving her home country of Lithuania to study abroad in college, and how she wants a similar transformation in every student at her new university. Johnson learned how to roll with the punches when stories fell through, and about cold beet root soup. Listeners can find Human Solutions here, or a print version at nonprofits or businesses in the Rondo or Frogtown areas of St. Paul. Special thanks to our sources for these stories.
