Lisa McCoy joins us this weekend to chat about the Northeast Delta Dental Mount Washington Road Race that takes place on June 19 and 20, 2021. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the annual tradition of running the race. Runners face a 4,650 gain in elevation over a 7.6 mile course up the auto road to the summit of Mount Washington. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the race this year will be run in two days with women running on Saturday and the men running on Sunday. The race proceeds over the past years have provided over $125k for the dental programs at Coos County Family Health Services.
