Today’s Daily Word tells us that inner joy is the foundation of irrepressible strength and fortitude. Did you ever put these words together in this way? Isn’t it interesting that we are stronger and more resilient when joy leads our way? This is not to say that we must always be happy, especially in a season in which happiness is fleeting. No, joy is a richer quality, one that embraces and accepts ALL of life as it is, doing what is ours to do and leaning upon Spirit to show the way. There is mystery and uncertainty in joy, for sure, but there is also radiant splendor. Follow that star!
