  2. Preserves….Stops the corruption of society or decaying
  3. Stings… the truth hurts…Heb 4:12
  4. It Heals
  5. Causes Thirst
• Light
  1. Shows the truth, uncovers sin….stands for holiness, purity, righteousness
  2. A godly life gives convincing testimony of the saving power of the Gospel
  3. Brings glory to God

 Mark 8:36 "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
