The Lynn Sage Foundation: A Breat Cancer Research Initiative with Laura Sage

Laura Sage of the Lynn Sage Foundation, who with her family have been raising funds and awareness for breast cancer causes for almost 30 years joins eHealth Radio and the Cancer Prevention Channel. The Lynn Sage Foundation is named after Laura's mom who passed away from breast cancer almost 30 years ago at age 39.

Laura Sage and her family have been raising fund and awareness for breast cancer causes for almost 30 years.  For the past 10 years they have focused their efforts on raising funds exclusively for Chicago-based breast cancer researchers via The Lynn Sage Foundation. The Lynn Sage Foundation is named after Laura's mom who passed away from breast cancer almost 30 years ago at age 39. Laura was 13 at the time and her sister, Halee was 11.

 

Laura volunteers her time at The Lynn Sage Foundation and is a Director at a Chicago-based hedge fund.  She has an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Arizona.  Laura is also on the Board of the Lurie Cancer Center at Northwestern.
