Haggai 1:1-11; 2:1-9; Mark 11:1-11, 15-19
The true Temple is the place where God and His people are fully present with each other together.
Pastor Jenn
P.S. This is super-embarrassing but must be noted: I make a very glaring mis-explanation in this message. In it I describe there having been three temples in Jerusalem (2 rebuilds of Solomon's). This comes from my 1) being confused by the fact that the Temple during Jesus' day is sometimes known as "Herod's Temple" and 2) my having a hazier recollection of "intertestamental" history than I realized and, not having realized it, not looking it up.
In fact the third literal Temple has not yet been built. This should not substantively negate the rest of this message but needs to be pointed out and corrected nevertheless.
