BONUS BIBLE SERIES: Welcome to Proverbs chapter nine on Build Your Bible Habit. In this chapter, we see a contrast between the wise and the foolish. We are also firmly warned not to reprove a scorner. Trying to correct or reason with someone who disregards God is wasted energy. When we heed instructions like these, we can avoid getting into heated debates that usually end poorly.
Now that you’re up to chapter nine, you are almost a third of the way into building a Bible habit that will lead you not only to the best life, but also the blessed life. A blessed life doesn’t have to be perfect to be amazing! Pay attention to each verse as you study, looking for ways to put the verses into practice. You will notice an improvement in your ability to make wise decisions as you apply what you’re learning.
As it says in Proverbs 9:9, "Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning."
