Even painful memories of the imperfect fathers of our childhoods carry hidden gifts for us, if we are willing to forgive and reframe. Charles Fillmore, Unity’s co-founder, spoke of the Father “both immanent and transcendent, and Jesus referred to “Our Father who art in heaven” as well as “the father within.”
