This week, Marshall and Nick discuss world building through dialogue. They use their current works in progress to explain how they get away from info dumping by using dialogue instead.
NOTE: Nick’s audio sounds not so great, but we’ll have that fixed for future episodes.
Topic of the Month: Dialogue
This Month’s Challenge: Take a scene from your current Work In Progress (WIP) and rewrite scene with dialogue. When you rewrite this dialogue, do with it without dialogue tags. Look to make your characters distinguished from one another but there mannerisms and unique traits. Add dialogue tags later as necessary.
