Prayer is not some religious duty we have to fulfill.  It is a privilege and honor that we get to communicate and be intimate with the creator of the universe, God Himself.  Prayer should never be seen as something we have to do but something we get to do.  Not all religions believe you can communicate with God.  According to Christian scripture we are given the opportunity to pray and it moves the heart of God.  There are many reasons why prayer works and hundreds of benefits that prayer gives us.  This week we will talk about three of them.
