The local church is more important than we often think. It has been said, "There is unity in diversity in the community of the Trinity." In the local church, we are to reflect the image of our Triune God. One way we do this is by exhibiting unity in diversity in the community of local churches. Jesus prays "that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me" (John 17:21).
