On Tuesday, February 23, Trey broke down the Mass, talking about the 3 main parts of it: 1) the meal, 2) the Presence, and 3) the sacrifice. Meals are usually intended to be a gathering place where we not only eat, but share our thoughts, lives, etc., which is like the Mass; we gather with others as the Body of Christ and bring everything to God. Secondly, when we receive communion, we are united to Jesus in a beautiful way through His Presence in the Eucharist, and Trey talked about the importance of teaching the True Presence to your children. Lastly, Trey discussed the importance of the sacrifice of the Mass, and how we are called to make daily sacrifices in our lives to show our love for Jesus and others. Trey challenged listeners to carry each of these aspects of the Mass into our daily lives, so that we are constantly tying ourselves back to Jesus in the Mass - beautiful! Remember to pray, parent with a purpose, and prepare for God to amaze you, and He will!
