Biden’s Gun-grab Exemplifies His Wrecking Operation

Joe Biden’s gun-control announcement on Friday perfectly captures how dangerous is his presidency.

First, as usual, he lied about the nature of his initiative. In this case, he asserted that it’s completely consistent with the Second Amendment’s guarantee of the right to bear arms. Wrong.

Second, Biden exposed the falsity of his putatively moderate façade by announcing the latest appointment of a radical, anti-gun activist David Shipman, to implement his policies.

Third, even as Mr. Biden touted the absurd idea that cracking down on law-abiding citizens’ right to bear arms will deny criminals’ access to weapons, his son Hunter has paid no price for getting a gun illegally by lying on a background check.

Unequal treatment under the law is corrosive to our constitutional Republic, but characteristic of the immense harm the Biden administration is doing to it, and us.
