The other day I was listening to a person lamenting all the problems in their life when this thought flashed in my mind, “You know, you can’t sell it until you own it.” The hardest part about self-improvement is accepting our flaws--owning those dark and difficult sides of our personality For most of us, our personality is constructed so as to obscure and protect our shortcomings. Unfortunately, until we are aware of our flaws and own them we can’t adopt new strategies to overcome them. It’s like trying to sell something you don’t own. Today, let’s talk about self honesty and understanding our shortcomings so that we can grow beyond them. Be sure to post your questions and comments, I always reply to them personally.
