Tasia Brown ”Changing the Stepmother Stigma”

Tasia Brown is a national communications strategist for Canada’s largest federal public-sector union and was elected President of the Canadian Association of Labour Media. A community activist at her core, Tasia is a co-founder of The Rise Initiative, a non-profit focused on creating social transformation at the local level by empowering diverse women and youth to become leaders in business and in their communities. She has been a spokesperson on CBC Radio and has been featured in Ottawa Life Magazine, CTV News, and CBC Ottawa. Tune in to hear her journey of changing the stepmother stigma.
