Just as we can have an eye impairment that prohibits us from seeing clearly, we can also have a spiritual impairment that dims our view of Truth, our ability to see who we are to God, and darkens the hope we have within us. Paul gives us the needed prescription that will cause the eyes of our hearts to be opened.
